Things to do in Co Kildare 

Kildare is knowen as the thorough bred County its renowned for its Race Horses(curragh race course) Kildangan its self has the famous Kildangan stud owned by Gadolpin one of the biggest stud farms in europe(privatly owned) open to the public is the famous Irish National Stud and japaneese Gardens in Kildare Town. There are also lots of golf courses including the K club hosting the Rider cup in 2006, as well as some nice par 3 courses. There are also walk ways and boating trips along the Grand canal and fishing including the river barrow, You are also within in a short drive of most major greyhound tracks along the east coast and midlands with the most nearest track being Newbridge. There is also within a short drive most major towns which provide some of Ireland oldest and the newest pubs with a friendly atmosphere, also a wide range of the finest multi cultural resturants.
